Another activity that left its mark was the “Orgullo de Escaparates” contest. This event transformed the streets of Chueca into an explosion of color and creativity. Local businesses competed for the most spectacular window display, attracting a large number of visitors. The contest not only beautified the neighborhood, but also fostered a spirit of protest, community and mutual support among merchants.
For the first time in its history, Chueca Diversa participated in the Pride demonstration with its own float on Saturday, July 6. This inclusion marked an important milestone and symbolized Chueca Diversa ‘s commitment to the visibility and pride of our community. The float was a meeting point for many and was attended by familiar faces, merchants and local partners.
The support of Todo Está en Madrid, Madrid Capital de Moda and the Madrid City Council was fundamental to the success of all these initiatives.
