The inauguration of the event took place in the emblematic Plaza de la Villa, marking the beginning of a week dedicated to creativity and craftsmanship in Spanish fashion. Madrid es Moda, the event that gives visibility to Spanish auteur designers under the umbrella of Madrid Capital de Moda, has once again demonstrated that slow fashion (#ESlowfashion) is a bet for the future. A proposal that not only respects tradition and artisan values, but also represents a form of cultural expression that connects with a more leisurely and joyful lifestyle.
Among the great protagonists of this edition, Maison Mesa, partner firm of Chueca Diversa, has dazzled with a collection loaded with symbolism and a powerful message of empowerment. “We all have the same capabilities, we all shine within ourselves. We just need to accept ourselves and project our essence outwards,” said the designer.
With a staging that fused fashion, art, technology and gastronomy, Maison Mesa offered a unique fashion show at Alberto Chicote’s Omeraki Restaurant, where creativity and reflection went hand in hand. A show in which we were invited to dream without limits, either with electric sheep or with a future where humanity and artificial intelligence coexist in harmony.
Madrid Fashion Week continues to consolidate its position as a key platform to promote Spanish designer fashion and to support a more inclusive, sustainable and vibrant industry. Talent and diversity continue to be the fundamental pillars of this event, where fashion is, above all, an expression of freedom and authenticity.
