It seems that time has stopped in Ángel Sierra’s tavern, located in the very square of Chueca, where every day that passes, the conservation of a place of these characteristics has more value. Its walls are living history of the most traditional Madrid: ceramics from the Cartuja de Sevilla, precious woods imported from Cuba, frescoed ceilings, tin bar, taps with several pipes… Everything remains as if a century had not passed since its inauguration, back in 1917.
In its two areas you can enjoy an excellent vermouth on tap, accompanied by olives from Campo Real and pickles. In addition to rich preserves; tuna, meat or chorizo pies; and typical canapés of smoked cod, ventresca with tomato and duck pâté. A treasure that we must protect and pamper, for the account that brings us.
