AZarte opened its doors in April 2010 as a space open to groups and artists from all areas of culture and mainly theater and film, disciplines to which our work and artistic research is linked.

The objectives of the Sala are to train and give visibility to creators, not only by exhibiting their works, but also by collaborating in their production. To this end, we set up residencies and various creation programs such as the Cooperative, the Assembly Workshops and the Cineatro laboratories with which we premiered 24 works and where several companies were formed.

The combination of the theater hall with stable programming, the residencies, our numerous complementary activities, the plays and short films produced and the training center directed by active professionals, make our space a meeting point for many artists of recognized prestige who currently develop their work in our hall.
