Del Diego was born in 1992 from a dream of Fernando del Diego, a former student of Perico Chicote, the most famous bar in Madrid until the 80s.

Fernando always sought excellence in his work. His goal was to create a cocktail bar of the highest level both in the raw materials used and in the professionalism of the bartenders, as well as in the service and treatment offered to the customer. This idea began to take shape with the design of the premises by the great architects Álvaro Soto and Javier Maroto. With a New York feel, it has been awarded several prizes for interior design and architecture by the Madrid City Council, among others.

The perfect complement to create what is today Del Diego Cocktail Bar was none other than Fernando’s family. They gave shape to the dream for which he had worked so hard for more than 30 years. They have been the pillar on which it has forged its prestige over the last 20 years as a local reference in Madrid. It is considered one of the best places in the world to have a cocktail or a drink of excellent quality.
