During the International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR, an outstanding display of diversity and support for local commerce was highlighted with the participation of the Chueca Diversa Stand in the FITUR LGBT+ area. During the five days of the event, this unique space positioned itself as one of the main attractions, attracting thousands of visitors interested in exploring the wonders and opportunities offered by one of Madrid’s most emblematic neighborhoods, presenting its innovative #PasaporteChuecaDiversa.

Since its opening, the Chueca Diversa booth has captivated attendees with an explosion of color, music and a festive atmosphere that celebrates diversity in all its forms. More than just a showcase, this place has been a meeting point for those who value inclusion, equality and support for local commerce.

With a variety of activities and events, the Stand of Chueca Diversa has offered visitors an unforgettable experience. From special tastings carried out by emblematic locals of the neighborhood such as La Cachapera, Specia Bar, Morenas Ritual, Zafyro, to playful activities with the Black & White show and José Perea’s fashion show. Every moment was an opportunity to immerse oneself in the cultural and commercial richness of the Chueca neighborhood.

Another key point was during the professional days. During these days we presented the study conducted by the Association Diversa Global and the University of Alcalá on trade and tourism in the Chueca neighborhood.

It is also worth mentioning that during the different days, important personalities such as Amor Romeira, Jesús Reyes, José Perea, Carmen Alcayde, Omar Suárez and José Perea, among others, visited the stand of Chueca Diversa.

In addition to highlighting the area’s tourism and gastronomic offerings, the Chueca Diversa stand also highlighted the key role it plays in promoting respect and diversity. As a historic haven for the LGBTQ+ community and home to a wide range of inclusive stores and establishments, Chueca presents itself as a must-see destination for those seeking authentic and enriching experiences in Madrid.
